Soldiers of Aden who tried to get inside Antharas’ Lair died miserably in the Dragon Valley. Antharas disciples gathered the bones of the fallen and used terrible curses to bring them back. Now all adventurers who want to enter Antharas’ Lair have to fight with the undead, and the fallen ones increase the numbers of the dead warriors. 

How to get into the Dragon Valley

In High Five update Dragon Valley was changed. It’s impossible to teleport from the Town of Giran to the Dragon Valley anymore. Now you can teleport to the Dragon Valley from the Hunters Village, by talking to Separated Soul NPC. All the characters are teleported to the Hunters Village if they die or use scrolls/skills which teleport a character to the closest township. There are also 8 Separated Souls in the Dragon Valley and in Antharas's Lair to help you move between the locations.

Hunting zone guide

Hunting in the Dragon Valley has become more difficult since the update. It’s still possible to kill some mobs alone - like Drakos or Necromancer of the Valley (herbs drop from such mobs), but in general, you need a party of 7-9 people to hunt in the Valley. The requirements to equipment and attribute protection have increased immensely.
  • Morale Boost
When your party enter the Dragon Valley, each party member receives a buff - Morale Boost. There are 3 levels of this buff, and the level cast on your party depends on the party members. Try different combinations of party members to get the maximal buff. The buff is effective only when you’re in the Dragon Valley.
Morale Boost – level 1The persistence of the brave who fight together in Dragon Valley receive Resistance to Paralysis/Bleed/Poison/Stun +50, CriticalRate +10%, and Critical Damage +10%.
Morale Boost – level 2The persistence of the brave who fight together in Dragon Valley receive Resistance to Paralysis/Bleed/Poison/Stun 80, Critical Rate +30%, Critical Damage +15%, Phys. Atk +15, M. Atk. +15.
Morale Boost – level 3The persistence of the brave who fight together in Dragon Valley receive Resistance to Paralysis/Bleed/Poison/Stun 90, Critical Rate +50%, Critical Damage +15%, Phys. Atk +15, M. Atk. +15, Atk Spd +15%, Casting Spd +15%, acquiring XP + 15%.
  • More effective Spoil
Now, if you spoil mobs, there’s a greater chance of getting herbs of life and mana and the herbs increasing vitality during hunt, so your hunt in the zone will be more effective. Besides, if you use spoil in the Dragon Valley, there’s a chance to get a Item 13893.jpg Sealed Holy Spirit's Cloak , and if you have exceptional luck, you can even get Icarus weapon.

Hunting Raid Bosses

In High Five update 7 raid bosses were added to the Dragon Valley. Unlike other Raid Bosses in Lineage II, they are special. To summon them, you need a Item 17248.jpg Large Dragon Bone . When you’ve got the bone, you need to approach a Dragon Vortex (there are four of them in total) and summon the Raid boss using the dialogue.
